Ed,

Thanks for your help!!! Your instructions are GREAT...the only error I made was I selected the wrong URL for the published folder. When you publish a folder, they present you with two options -- the second one, the one which should be used, specifies a FILENAME at the end as it's intended to allow you to link to a specific file. I finally figured out my mistake by comparing my link to yours, and just omitted the FILENAME requirement and I'm good to go. Still a couple issues to figure out (my post extended into the sidebar), but I'm sooo happy! Thanks again! While all my entries won't be in ink, some most definitely will. You can now add me to the roster of ink bloggers!

Hi Ed,

I just installed Photosync on my homeserver and linked it to my flikr account. Everytime I try to change the Photosync folder homeserver console stops working. Eventlog says that there was an system.argumentnullexception in photosync.

Any ideas?

Help is highly appreciated!

Hi Ed....I installed the PhotoSync Beta 2...looks nice, but right now, do we only have the option to do the root photo share? Or can we drill down and choose the one we want? Also, an enhancment would be a Sync Now button..for immediate transfer.

thanks

I was hoping to use your add-in to upload pictures to flickr. Once the bugs are worked out, it will become very useful. I am having the same non sync issue that others are having. I am also using the whiist add-in and I was hoping to point photosync to the same folder used by whiist. That would alleviate the pain of having one folder for whiist and one folder for photosync. So testing against a whiist folder would probably help you work out your sync issues.

Thanks for creating and updating the add-in.

I'm with the rest of you, this is simply not working. It does the root folder pics and goes not further. I even tried rename files and directories and delelted every file that was not a jpg. It simply does not work. Is there ever going to be a final or at the least another release that will fix the issues. I have quite a few pics that I would love to have off site for preservation and manually uploading all those pics is not an option!
